Broadus Memorial Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated Christian to lead an active youth ministry. Candidate must relate well to young people and their parents, and must have the spiritual gifts to plan and lead studies, activities and programs. Related education and experience is a plus. Our desire is to inspire and guide youth (grades 6-12) in their walk with the Lord.
Broadus is a mission-minded church with strong ties to the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) and our local Dover Association. We operate at two sites – our Pole Green Road campus in Hanover County and our Hebron Campus in King William County. The combined Sunday attendance is around 220, with a youth group of about 25. The Minister of Youth position is currently part-time. The Personnel Committee is willing to negotiate precise hours, duties and compensation. A more detailed job description is available upon request.
