Part-Time Interim Pastor
Job Description
New Highland Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia, seeks a qualified part-time Interim Pastor to lead during our search for a permanent Senior Pastor. The position is expected to require 18–20 hours weekly over a period of 6 months to one year.
Specific responsibilities encompass:
Preaching and leading worship services, including the celebration of church ordinances.
Providing leadership and managing administrative duties related to church operations and staff.
Offering guidance to the Pastor search team.
As time permits, perform pastoral duties such as visitation, counseling, and providing spiritual comfort to members.
This role requires a dedicated leader capable of fostering spiritual growth and community engagement during a transitional period.
