Title:    Administrative Assistant (part-time)


Reports to: Executive Director of Missions with day-to-day supervision and Mentoring Relationship with Communications and Operations Manager


Job Summary: To assist and provide administrative support services for the efficient and effective operation of the Dover Baptist Association office and member churches


Overall Duties:

(1)   Maintain the Association Office.

(2)   Support the Communications and Operations Manager to maintain workflow procedures and efficient filling system.

(3)   Support the Executive Director and Communications and Operations Manager in planned weekly, monthly and yearly communications with the Association.

 

Required skills/abilities:

  • Proven excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent proven organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Reliable transportation to Dover office.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree strongly preferred.

  • Three to five years in an administrative role strongly preferred.

Physical requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Ability to lift 15 pounds.


Strongly Preferred:

  • Identifies as Christian and/or Baptist
